A Story of Craft & Intuition

Madame & Compagnie was born from years of experience as a wedding designer,
working closely with brides in search of something meaningful and personal.

What began as a single bespoke request,
accessories designed to echo a bridal bouquet,
quickly revealed a deeper calling :
to create floral pieces with intention, emotion, and longevity.

Today, the atelier continues this approach,
bringing together French sensibility and contemporary design.

The Art of Preserved Flowers

Preserved flowers are natural flowers, carefully treated through an eco-conscious process
to maintain their beauty, softness, and vibrancy over time.

Unlike dried flowers, preserved flowers retain their original texture, colour, and form,
offering a refined balance between delicacy and durability.

At Madame & Compagnie, only 100% organic preserved flowers are selected.
They are treated through a biological process, using natural solutions and free from harmful chemicals,
respecting both the material and the environment.

This approach allows each creation to remain present long after the moment it was worn —
not as a fleeting ornament, but as a lasting piece designed to be kept.

La Fondatrice

Madame & Compagnie was founded by Gaëlle, a French designer with a background in the arts and over seven years of experience as a wedding designer and planner.

Coming from a family of artisans and artists, her creative path has always been guided by a deep connection to nature, materials, and movement. Her early studies in the arts — particularly dance and stage design — shaped a sensitive approach to form, balance, and emotion.

In 2018, she established her own wedding design studio in New Caledonia, specialising in floral scenography and bespoke celebrations. It was there that the first Madame & Compagnie creations were born: floral accessories designed in dialogue with bridal bouquets, imagined as light, poetic, and deeply personal pieces.

Now based in Melbourne, she continues this work through the Madame & Compagnie atelier, focusing on the creation of refined jewellery and accessories crafted exclusively from preserved flowers.

Her approach remains unchanged: to create elegant, meaningful pieces that enhance those who wear them, and transform a fleeting moment into a lasting memory.
